Banana Oat Bars)

These bars are lower in fat than most bar cookies.

Here's What You Need
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/3 cups quick cooking oats
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mashed bananas
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup skim milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Mix together dry ingredients.
  3. In a separate bowl mix together bananas, egg whites, milk and vanilla.
  4. Beat all together.
  5. Bake in a 9 x 13 inch pan which has been sprayed with non-stick spray for about 35 minutes.
  6. Cool and cut into bars.
  7. You may sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, if desired.
